Volunteers built the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and volunteers keep it alive and flourishing today. Volunteer programs appeal to people with diverse talents, interests and experience levels.

Serve as volunteer host at North Hartland Lake, collecting user fees, selling annual passes and providing information to visitors.
